Custom built facilities
The West Wales Dental Clinic has been custom built to provide the regions best possible facilities for dental implant surgery. A dedicated implant operating theatre is supported by state of the art technology such as an operating microscope, digital 2D imaging, together with cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT) scanner allowing 3D radiographs to be taken making implant placement significantly more accurate.
The accuracy of the prosthetic element of implant restorations is enhanced by using digital impressions using 3Shape Trios Scanner.
For Tooth Whitening the advanced Zoom LED lighting is used and for facial Aesthetics the most advanced materials and equipment such as the U225 Micro Needling gun.

The West Wales Dental Clinic is one of the relatively few practices to have an in-house state-of-the-art CBCT scanner. This advanced diagnostic tool takes a 3D CT scan of the jaw using the lowest possible radiation dose amongst products available internationally. This technology is invaluable when considering complex surgical procedures such as dental implant placement and bone augmentation.
Teeth Whitening
Philips Zoom Whitespeed
Philips Zoom whitening is an extremely popular tooth whitening system that is used throughout the world. It is offered as an In-Surgery, PHILPS ZOOM WHITESPEED uses an advanced LED lighting system which, at the West Wales Dental Implant Clinic takes an hour and a half to two hours to complete with the patient leaving the surgery with a smile that is instantly brighter.
PHILIPS ZOOM DAYWHITE and PHILIPS ZOOM NITEWHITE are home teeth whitening systems. DayWhite is preferred if a person wants to wear trays for a short duration during the day and trays need to be worn for 60-90 minutes, for results
typically in 2 weeks. NiteWhite allows the patient to whiten their teeth while they sleep and is therefore ideal if you’d like to wear the trays overnight.

Digital impressions represent cutting-edge technology that allows dentists to create a virtual, computer-generated replica of the hard and soft tissues in the mouth using lasers and other optical scanning devices.
The digital technology captures clear and highly accurate impression data in mere minutes, without the need for traditional impression materials that some patients find inconvenient and messy. Many patients find digital impressions an easier and more comfortable procedure because traditional impression materials are avoided. The impression information then is transferred to a computer and used to create restorations, often without the need for stone models
