What are dental implants?
Dental implants are biocompatible titanium substitutes for missing teeth. These “fixtures” can be used to support single crowns, fixed bridges, removable partial or complete dentures.
The implants that are predominantly used at the West Wales Dental Implant Clinic are Straumann, one of the world’s most prestigious systems with a long-term history of research and development. Studies by implant academics and implant associations around the world indicate a 97% success rate.
Implants can be single implants, multiple implants, implant retained bridge, or implant retained denture. Additional procedures may be required such as Bone Augmentation, Block Bone Grafting, Sinus Lifting, Protein Rich Plasma (PRP) or Soft Tissue Augmentation.
ALL THESE PROCEDURES CAN BE CARRIED OUT AT THE WEST WALES DENTAL CLINIC.

Dental Bridge Implants
A dental bridge will literally ‘bridge the gap’ created by one or more missing teeth, and restore the natural appearance of your smile.

Implant-retained Dentures
Implant-retained dentures offer the closest possible replacement to your natural teeth, in terms of function and appearance.
